What do you know about HUNAB KU??

topic posted Tue, December 7, 2004 - 12:19 PM by  Erin
Hey y'all,
Thanks for joining this ride with me. I would love for this place to be for sharing wisdom. What are the Mayan's to you? How did you remember them? What is your relationship to the HUNAB KU??

Raven and I have been corresponding a little about it and thought I would share it with the class....

Hi Prizm! I find this whole thing about the thirteenth dimension quite interesting! I don't know much about the Mayans or Aztecs or their concept of dimensionality. I'm hoping that you can enlighten me about their concept. I do, however, know quite a bit about dimensionality and just a little regarding the ancestory of the Mayans/ Aztecs. Please explain about the 'hunab ku'

Prizm's Response:

Hey Raven,
don't get any ideas now. I'm no expert. I just started on this journey (in this lifetime) this summer. All I know is how I feel about it.

I don't know what your spiritual beliefs are, but I am pretty much a pagan. I devote myself to the Earth, because it is me. Just as I am the Earth. I'm also in to a lot of Eastern philosophy, basically I agree with most of it, but I don't believe in organized religion.

The Hunab Ku is like the central core. Of everything, I mean all that IS. Where things begin and end. You can think it's really far away, but it's right here, just a few dimensions over. I have been looking at stuff online, and from what I skimmed over I learned that part of a belief is that it is the masculine aspect of the creator god, in Mayan myth and/or reality. But I can't look at it that way, how can something that is obviously a balanced image be more of one gender than another. To me it is simply creator spirit. But the wonderful thing about it is that it reminds ME of MY powers of creation. That I can manifest anything I want in my reality. And I do, even though most of the time it's subconscious.

I think the Hunab Ku will exist for you the way you need it to in order to understand it and know it best. I'm all about the personal interpretation of my reality, instead of a forced picture written by someone else.

Do you mind if I post this conversation? I think it would be good to put it on the discussion board.

This is a great way to get it started!
Blessings,
Prizm

A really great book to read, besides The Mayan Factor is The Surfers of the Zuvuya, both by Jose Arguelles. Surfers is all about interdimensional travel and connection to your higher self, or as jose calls it, your dimensional double.
The Mayan Factor is like the technical part of the story, and Surfers is sort of the application. Very cool.

Hunab Ku, which represents the center of the galaxy, or the heart of galactic consciousness. Hunab Ku can be translated as “One Giver of Movement and Measure,” and is conceptually equivalent to God, Great Spirit, or Absolute Being.

As the Hunab Ku mixes the matrices of realities into the fourth dimension of Love, our civilization will transform into a multi-dimensional galactic culture founded on natural time, based on universal telepathy, and held together by art. Light Technology is based on love, and can be used in right-alignment with the Source to create anything imaginable.

if what i am hearing is correct it sounds to me that it is what i call intent or the unknowable. one...intent is how we manifest this dream and the unknowable is welll. unknowable, silent knowlege.
and the veiw on the mayans is that they were these amazeing dreamers in touch with their energy body and able to split dimensions with such. Im pulling from allot of the toltec training but the dreaming awake is the open channell. language is my curiosity right now with this new but familiar explanation of how energy flows in the universe.
mayans for me were the dreamers
    aztecks the warriors.
eagles and jaguars, they taught jesus ya know...

eagles and jaguar's taught jesus? hmmm... I don't know if that is symbolic or literal- but in a symbolic sense, it makes perfect sense... wisdom and strength....

Speaking of dreams, I know that my own Iroquois people were and still are very heavy into dreams. It seems that this is where we gather our wisdom and insight into matters concerning the Hub (HUNAB?) i.e. the central point/ no point of All/ IS. I have found personally that following another's path (whether cultural or spiritual) is very limiting to gaining an understanding of IS. For me, personally, I follow my own path and will refer to other's wisdom and knowledge to gain a deeper understanding of my own knowledge.

The understanding of IS really needs to be a personal and unique path. I believe that Jesus understood this well. He went out and found 'God' or his "Father' for himself and was free to speak about his knowledge, depsite the reprucussions, depsite what others believed or thought- for he knew that what he found about IS - IS... therefore, he realized that he was 'I AM"- as all of us are "I AM'- the first dimension, or split from the Whole.

I'm right there with you Raven. All that I can do is take from each lesson what I resonate with. Right now I am on a high frequency with the Maya. Which is really exciting for me.

Be is right, it's about the open channel.

I really want to tap more into my dreams-during the day-. I've tried to focus my night dreaming but I haven't gotten the hang of it. I went somewhere the other day in meditation and I would really like to hone in on that.

Prizm, I wish I could give some good advise about how to hone the dream world. For me, it's just natural... I am able to direct and control most of my dreams, except of course when others interfere with that space and pop into my dreams. (I'm working out the protection aspect of this).

All I know is that everything happens on the 'spirit' level first (including the dream-world) BEFORE manifesting on the physical (funny how most people think it's the opposite). If only more people, like you, took the time to understand and evolve those levels on consciousness, this world would look entirely different!

Prizm If you are into learning about the Maya people, check out Martin Prechtel. He has several books and travels giving talks. knows the dreamtime very deeply and is very "for real."

The Mayan culture evolved over quite a long period, the roots of which keep turning up deeper with each new archeological discovery. It can be a trap to try and lump it all together, just consider the change in this little nation of no more than a few hundred years old. The diverse Mayan roots run deep of the Earth tree.

The Mayan culture = fractal of the universal whole. Through this macrocosmic structure, the megascopic and microscopic realities can be understood through the interpretation of harmonic resonant archetypes and patterns that have been studied, identified and given specific resonant depictions by the Mayans through which one can relate to any specific point in the space-time matrix.

Hunab Ku is the "G" force - spiralling beauty and musical tone of the Universe.

            Whoah. This place is great.

I love everything everyone is saying, all VERY good for me to hear, so thank you.

I have felt of late this sense that the Hunab ku or what I am also calling the Central Sun (I realize Alcyon has that factor as well) is right here now, as someone said, just a dimension away.

I don't doubt for a second that the real person of whom we say Jesus travelled widely and that there were when he was really living his own unique path of enlightenment many remaingin aspects/cultures of the high civilization that was left over after the pole shift I dunno like 10 to 15 thousand years ago.

I have also been getting around this idea that we (our ancestors) were already fully rigged to live in illness free harmony on this planet before we were genetically tampered with.

So I am into this revisionist history stuff coming out now, too - helps to explain a lot for me - you know, real history - you can feel the difference and granted their is lots of good time for that to be integrated by everyone and with their contribution to the telepathic wholeness of our native selves.

            Ah Yum Hunab Ku

I always remember Hunab Ku as the One Giver of Form and Measure.
An amazing little synchronicity brings me into this tribe tonight and I am humbled and amazed.
I wish us all peace love abundance and insight.
